“The Secret Rose” Professional Handmade Oblique Calligraphy Pen

This is a very special one-of-a-kind pen…I named her “The Secret Rose” because her beautiful rose-colored resin is “encased” within a splendid piece of exotic Box Elder Burl wood.  This is a “hybrid” pen, which means that the “body” of the pen is a combination of handpoured resin that is fused to a piece of “live edged” wood (in this case Box Elder Burl wood).  In the places where the resin is fused to the wood, a beautiful, random “joint line” occurs (that joint line shape is designed by mother nature herself).  Because of this, there are no two hybrid pens that are alike, as those natural shapes are as unique as a fingerprint.  But…this one…this one is extra special, because the wood structure actually “cradles” around the resin”…giving the illusion that the resin is encased within the burl wood…and almost appears “hidden” (or secret) in the wood.  Hence the name of this pen…”The Secret Rose”…because the resin is primarily a rose color, and is “secreted” within the natural cleft of this splendid burl wood.  This pen feels great in the hand, and looks like no other.  If this pen ever goes “missing”, it will be very easy for you to spot it, as it is the only one like this on the planet.  But she’s not just another pretty face…rest assured that this is a professional writing instrument that will happily handle the rigors and demands of the professional calligrapher.  Excellent balance, and ultra-comfortable in the hand!
