“Little Brownie” Filigree pen (This pen will only work with the Atome 1423 nib)

This little guy is a “filigree” pen, and will only work with the tiny Atome 1423/423 nib.  That nib is fantastic for tiny filigree work and ornamentation (such as fine-line vines, “golf club” filigrees, etc.). They are excellent for medieval-style decorative works (as the tiny works that decorate medieval versals and borders).  These nibs are very small, and therefore do not work in a traditional straight pen holder, so I have devised these pens to work perfectly for these nibs.  Anyone who knows me, knows that I do a lot of medieval-style calligraphy, and this is my nib of choice for the fine detailed work required in those designs.  These nibs produce a super-fine hairline, and they are only slightly flexible, so they are easy to keep a consistently fine hairline.   These are also great for fineline Spencerian style writing, or traditional “Business hand” writing…also great for “Italian hand”.  You will find a bazillion uses for it!

This pen will include a brand new Atome 1423 nib installed in the pen, so you can go straight to work with it!
